I have an interesting story to share about the Brainwashed Cult of Climate Denialists. I am talking about firsthand, percipient, existential experience.

I am not talking about hearsay or something I might've heard about on Facebook from the official QAnon page there.

These kinds of things where people can become so brainwashed, so willingly self-deluded .. all while being so thoroughly convinced that they are really right about something or other ..

.. this kind of thing fascinates me. For a number of reasons.

It is actually a sad, depressing thing to behold .. because of the implications such a thing carries with it. But not all of life is happy.

» I Would Never have Believed Such a Thing had I Not Seen It for Myself with My Own Two Eyes

I am thinking right now about one such event where I witnessed (unfortunately) such a thing. Such a sad thing that made me feel sad.

It is such a mind-warping thing that I wouldnt believe it had I not seen it for myself with my own two eyes. My own two human existential eyes. My well-trained eyes.

There are many such events that I witnessed, but this one serves as the perfect vignette. A little story that reflects a bigger story. A much bigger story.

The so-called apocalypse, the much-touted apocalypse, you know, is actually a grand revelation where all becomes clear ..

.. plainly clear, painfully clear, clearer than clear, for even the most deluded of the willingly self-deluded.

I feel like I am simply stating the obvious here. You'll see what I mean .. sooner or later. If you havent already, that is.

I dont see how anybody cannot see what I see so clearly and so plainly. But folks have proven me wrong for so long now that I take nothing for granted anymore.

Is somebody like Matthew Coleman going to listen to you .. when you try to tell him that his wife does not really have serpent-DNA?

And that his mind has really-n-truly been manipulated by the darkest of forces to make him believe this crazy shit?

You be the judge. Judge for yourself, dear reader. You decide how you feel Matthew might respond to your truth.

» You're Wasting Your Time Trying to Help the Deluded See the Truth, No Matter How Self-Evident It Might Be

Normally I would've been inclined to believe that Matthew would have responded positively to this truth that you are going to share with him. But not anymore.

My experience has been, my existential firsthand experience has been, that folks don't really want your truth.

They especially do not want your truth when it happens to cast an ugly light on their lies. (Ask me how I know.)

They have already entered the realm of the Twilight Zone .. the realm where insanity rules and absurdity has become the norm.

You're not going to get them back. You know that you are not going to get them back. (Or you wouldve done it already.)

So why even try? It only pisses them off and makes them hate you even more. In other words, you're wasting your time, my friend.

This has been my experience .. I'm sad to say.

» The Scorched-Earth Approach to Environmental Policy of the Fading Generation

Speaking of the arrival of the much-touted apocalypse .. where all becomes clear (revealed, manifest, plain, unmistakable) to even the most deluded of souls ..

.. when I witnessed this thing that I have been talking about here .. this sad thing that I witnessed (unfortunately) with my own two eyes, and which I heard with my own two ears ..

.. I thought how these folks who are members of the older generation .. these folks who are not even going to be here when the environment becomes uninhabitable for human life ..

.. I thought how they have adopted a scorched-earth approach to environmental policy.

Personally I want to leave a healthy, robust environment to my son and to his generation .. to the entire younger generation.

I cannot understand a mindset that seems to think nothing of supporting policies that harm the planet. That do irreversible damage to the earth itself.

Is this not insanity and delusion all wrapped into one political policy?

Do not their actions seem to say? » "If I can't be in charge and call the shots, then nobody will. It would be better that the earth become totally uninhabitable for human life .. than for the Evil Democrats to take over. If Trump can't be president, then fuck it .. let's burn this fucker down. Let's burn this country to the ground .. the whole enchilada .. the country, the environment, the economy, this so-called democracy .. let's torch the whole fucking thing. Everybody knows that this is what Trump wants. And we always purpose in our hearts do everything that Trump wants. We hear and we obey without question. This is our True Calling in life. We hear and we obey. This is our Primary Mission and our very reason for being. This is why we hear hear and we obey. Anybody who does not agree with Trump is an enemy. They are the devil. Trump is doing the will of our god. This is why we love him so much. Trump is obviously a prophet. I mean, just ask Lindsey Graham. Now, there is a man a great integrity. God bless, Lindsey Graham.

I could continue down this path ad nauseum, dear reader .. but you feel me.

The reason why the entire planet is on fire uncontrollably .. is because the older generation has refused to turn over power and authority to the younger generation.

And the older generation does not give two shits about the environment (obviously) .. about the planet, about the ecosystem in which we live, about the environment, about mother earth.

This makes perfect sense, dear reader, if you think about it for a moment .. because they won't even be here.
