Especially after Dershowitz publicly argued that statutory rape is an "outdated concept" (LA Times, 7 May 1997).

Now there's an eyebrow-raising title if ever I saw one. Why would he ever do something like that?

Have you ever heard someone argue that statutory rape was an outdated concept? I certainly havent.

I wonder if Shaun has any idea why Alan might argue such a thing.

When did it become outdated, Alan? What year pray tell?

Whatever precipitated such an idea? Does David Boies share your startling opinion?

Whatever might've prompted Alan to think along these lines? What was it that caused Alan to ponder such a thing?

And why is he such close friends with a known convicted sex offender? I wonder if we'll ever know the answer to this question.

But for Alan Dershowitz, the ladies of The View couldnt have been nicer. They really rolled out the red carpet for him.

Do they agree with Alan that statutory rape is an outdated concept? Why didnt they ask Alan about this article he wrote?

Why didnt they ask Alan what he thinks about being called "the Devil's advocate?"

Is he proud of this title? I am sure that Connie Bruck would like to know the answer to these questions.

Did the ladies of The View invite any of Dershowitz's accusers onto their show .. so that they could share their side of the story? .. to give them equal time?

Did they want to hear their view of what happened with Alan?

I think not. Only Dershowitz was welcome to share his side of the story. Shame on them.
