Candace Owens Makes Me Feel Sad for the Black Man in America

Is she doing this for the money? There are many whites who will gladly pay blacks to say things like this publicly. Is she being opportunistic here?

I dont get it .. and it seems like neither do the members of this panel.

I wonder what Cornel West thinks of the things that Candace has said.

Even the look on Laura Ingraham's face seemed to be saying, "I can't believe I am hearing this girl say this shit. Even I know that this is total bullshit."

Oh, look .. here is T.I. engaged in a passionate debate with Candace at the Revolt Summit in Atlanta (14 Sept 2019).

He is having none of her revisionist bullshit where she tries to defend Trump and his policies.

He is questioning her about Trump's campaign motto » Make America Great Again.

He keeps asking her, "Which period was America great that we're trying to replicate? Was it the period when we were hanging from trees? Which era was it, Candace? Tell me."

He keeps pressing her on this point because he already knows the answer. The crowd responds accordingly.

It was obviously back when Whites dominated the culture, and when White Males were firmly in control of the nation's socioeconomic levers. (The 1950's was their most recent golden age.)

Ana says that Candace is a grifter .. as part of her answer to Cenk's question » "Why is Candace spewing this revisionist history?"

Here is a transcript of Ana's entire response:

"Come on .. are we going to pretend like she isnt influenced by the same influences that have 'changed' the political ideology of individuals like Dave Rubin? And here's the thing .. when you're a grifter, yeah, there's an upside to that. Because you get to collect that money. And you live a nice lifestyle. And you dont have to work as hard as individuals who are trying to put the truth out there. But at the same time, grifters arent ever able to back up their arguments. And then you find yourself in these awkward situations .. where you might get asked to do a panel. You might get an offer where you get paid a lot to do a panel like this. I dont know if she got paid for this or not. But then, you have to somehow defend the nonsense that comes out of your mouth. And you can't .. because the facts dont back up your argument."

I know exactly what Ana is talking about .. though I've never heard anyone actually articulate it so plainly before.

I think that every human being, to one degree or another, knows exactly what Ana is talking about there. Because every human being encounters the place where Candace and Dave Rubin have diverted their political or moral ideologies ..

.. to abandon the truth in favor of the money. It is actually more common than the path of the Truth-Teller.

And it is completely understandable .. because these are powerful forces at play. They are not easy to resist.

There is an element of selling your soul .. or, at least, a part of it. A part that is surprisingly easy to rationalize away.

She probably feels fortunate that somebody is willing to pay her so much for a part of her soul. After a while however, it will start to eat at her.

I wonder what Roland Martin thinks of all this. He is a black man. So his opinion carries more weight. (Keke knows what I am talking about.)

But I dont want him to mince words. I want him to give it to me straight. I want his unvarnished opinion. I want it unfiltered.

Do we really need to engage crazy black conservatives? You know, black conservatives who, frankly, have lost their minds .. and who really dont make any sense whatsoever. Because I know a lot of black conservatives. But I know a lot of them with brains .. unlike these two on the panel.

Roland's statement here seems to confirm what Ana said .. that people like Candace » can't defend the nonsense that comes out of their mouths .. because the facts dont back up their arguments.
