Here is a follow-up piece (1 Aug 2019) by his daughter, Patti Davis .. who says she wouldnt have believed it if she hadnt actually heard him say it with her own ears.

I had the exact same thought myself, which is why I included a link to the YouTube page that contains the audio itself .. and not merely the page that says "Of course there are tapes."

Trump the racist president is signaling that he intends to run a blatantly racist reelection campaign .. right after we elected the first black president in our nation's history.

Rick Wilson knows what I am talking about regarding the present state of our nation's affairs.

He is the guy who wrote the book titled » Everything Trump Touches Dies: A Republican Strategist Gets Real About the Worst President Ever (2018).

We would all like to think that Mr. Wilson was employing hyperbole in his tweet. But unfortunately he wasnt.

I wonder why no Republicans have the balls .. why no Republicans have the moral courage .. why no Republicans have the intestinal fortitude .. to confront and condemn Trump's blatantly racist attacks against people of color. His repeated and recurring racist attacks.

Elise Jordan says that the reason why spineless Republicans are not condemning Trump's blatantly racist attacks against people of color is because ..

.. is because they are 'petrified' of him .. because they have let him bully them for years.

They must have balls the size of BBs .. if they have any balls at all. If they have any moral courage at all.

What do you call a man who has balls the size of BBs and no moral spine to speak of? (Dubya knows what I am talking about.)

How many of these Republican senators want to see their sons grow up to be just like Donald Trump?

Maybe some senator will write a book on how to raise your children so that they turn out to be just like Donald Trump.

Is Donald Trump a role model for the sons of evangelical parents? Somebody please ask Jerry Fallwell Jr this question for me.

When they are in the grocery store with their children, do they say, "Oh look, little Billy .. there's a black person in the check-out line. Let's go over there and tell him to go back to the rat-infested village where he came from." ?

Or, "Oh look, little Jimmy. There's a hot chick in the ice cream aisle. Let's go over there and grab her pussy. Just tell her that you're famous and she'll let you do it." ?

Or how about, "Oh look, little Johnny. There's a Mexican rapist standing at the tortilla section. Let's go over there and ask him how many people he has raped this week." ?

Dont we teach our kids to shun and reject everything that Trump represents?

This is why I feel that a class in Ethics should be required for graduation from both high school and college, and especially from Law school.

» Eddie Glaude Speaks Bluntly on Racism in America

One of the things that made me feel happy .. was this statement made by Eddie Glaude. He is a professor of African American Studies at Princeton.

The mere fact that a a black man is speaking aloud these words on television .. this a big deal.

You almost can't believe what your ears are hearing. In the grand scheme of things, this is a big deal.

So cool what he was saying that I transcribed the first part of his words here:

America is not unique in its sins as a country.
We're not unique in our evils, to be honest.
Where we may be singular is in our refusal to acknowledge them,
and in the legends and myths we like to tell ourselves about our inherent, you know, "goodness,"
in order to hide and cover and conceal
so that we can maintain a kind of willful ignorance that protects our innocence.

He is talking about » self deception .. is he not?

The second part is where he talks about the key factors driving such things.

He says that social scientists knew back in 2009 that the Tea Party was really about » anxieties over demographic shifts, and not about economic populism.

Keep it up, Eddie. Promising words.

» The Black Man Will Naturally be Able to Speak to Issues of Racism with Maximum Authenticity

I have always felt that a black man or a black woman is naturally going to know best about racism than any white person. This is why I wanted Obama to talk more about it.

I mean, blacks are right in the middle racism, so they will naturally know better the current state of racism in America .. which is now at crisis levels.

I normally defer to people of color when conversations on such topics arise. I am more interested in their opinions and their experiences.

Speaking of the black man and the authenticity that he brings to the table of justice ..

Of all the things I have seen on approaches toward bringing justice to racist injustice .. these ideas promoted by Bryan Stevenson struck me as the best plan. See what you think. He has an HBO special or documentary or a docu-series.

I mean, if we really want to stop fucking around and stop pretending like racism is a figment of the Negro imagination.

We should be beyond this .. way beyond.
